Use it safely

Snugday is for warmth only, not diagnosis or treatment.

  1. Start on low. Turn it up only if you want more heat.
  2. Wear it over a thin layer. Never on bare skin: a layer between the pad and your skin lowers the risk of burns.
  3. Use short sessions of about 15–20 minutes. Check your skin. The belt also switches itself off after 30 minutes, as a backstop.
  4. Don't sleep with it on. Take it off before bed.

FAQs
How long does the battery last?
We're measuring run times on our own belts and will post the real numbers here. We won't guess. It also switches itself off after 30 minutes: that's a safety timer, not a dead battery. Let your skin cool, then turn it on again for another session. Long day? The bundles give you a backup.
How do I charge it?
With the included USB-C cable and your own USB wall adapter.
How hot does it get?
It has low, medium and high settings. Start on low and turn it up only if you want more heat. Wear it over a thin layer and use short sessions of about 15–20 minutes; the 30-minute shut-off is a backstop.
Can I wear it on bare skin?
We recommend a thin layer of clothing between the belt and your skin, like a tank top. Heat on bare skin for a long time can mark or burn it.
Can I sleep with it on?
No. Please take it off before you sleep. Like any heating pad, it should not be used while sleeping.
Will people notice it?
It's made to sit under a loose sweater, hoodie or scrubs, over a thin layer. The vibration mode can hum, so in a quiet room you may want to leave it off.
Can I wear it at work?
It has no cord and no plug, so there is nothing to plug in at your desk. If your workplace has rules about personal heated devices, follow them.
Belly or back?
Both. Wear it on your lower belly or turn it around for your lower back.
Using it with a medical condition
Snugday is a heat belt, not a treatment. It does not treat or cure endometriosis, PCOS, fibroids or any other medical condition. Severe, unusual or worsening pain should be checked by a doctor.
Pregnancy
During pregnancy, ask a doctor before using any heat product.
Teens
For teens, set it up together: start on low, wear it over clothing, check her skin afterward, and don't let her sleep with it on. Severe, unusual or worsening symptoms should be checked by a doctor.
Can I fly with it?
It contains a rechargeable lithium battery. Check your airline's battery rules before you pack it.
Why not disposable heat wraps?
Disposable wraps like ThermaCare are thinner and give longer heat per wrap, and they're a good option. Each one is single use with a fixed heat level, though, so you buy more every month. Snugday is reusable, has 3 heat levels and recharges by USB-C.
